CAPSULE COLLECTION
an iconic chicago building and a 5,000-sq-ft condo that once belonged to vince vaughan? we're all in.
art deco would be an obvious move for the palmolive but [respectfully] — nah. opening up + adding organic flow to a traditional floor plan—yaaasssssss.
first things first: make an entrance. PROjECT. flipped the script on a private elevator bay [aka the capsule] and a parlor that now flaunts peekaboo bookshelves + a shaggy white sofa composed of hundreds of strands of nylon rope, and activated a long hallway with a look-at-me mix of street and fiber art for curated vibes.
insert a 50-foot-long custom runner rug with sections of leather shag, shimmering silk + stringy tassels. a woven wallcovering for the screening room, a speakeasy-style office, tambour-clad portals, stone countertops for a psychedelic statement in the kitchen... now she's showing off—and showing up for those lake + skyline views.
last but not least, we turned down the volume in the primary with a crescent-shaped mirror, white plaster walls + ethereal draperies for days [and starry nights].
