being more than a little obsessed about the integrity of the work leaves limited time for self-promotion—[we get the word out when we can + let the work speak for itself]. even now, every time an editor, photographer or tv producer slides into our DMs—it’s as rewarding as it is unexpected. not that we don’t love being a cover girl now and again.
