PUMP UP THE VOLUME
part 1990s modern, part french chateau flare, this horseshoe-shaped babe in lincoln park was having an identity crisis.
so we walked her floors [slowly and intentionally] + listened to her walls, honing in on the compelling parts of the architecture to tap that potential. at 13,000 square feet spread across two city lots—and with 11 total bathrooms to revamp!—this glowup would be an undertaking of grand proportions.
walls came down + archways were added, and those dated cherry floors got swapped for white oak planks and custom-cut nero marquina tile.
other big moves, you ask? we rocked out a curvaceous stair railing, an undulating plaster wall, a bad*ss bofi kitchen in white, some super-sized custom furniture [a double-sided sofa upholstered to withstand red wine and grape juice alike? but of course], and the sickest circadian lighting for polished punctuation.
